ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2024-25

Intake capacity: 100 Seats

 Admissions in Arawali Veterinary College shall be made under three broad categories:-

1. Regular Seats (35);

Admission on 35 regular seats will be made by Rajasthan University of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner from the candidates of Rajasthan State Domicile and having qualified in NEET  (UG) - 2024.

 Reservation policy on admissions is as per Rajasthan State Government Reservation policy adopted by RAJUVAS.

2. VCI quota (15 seats):

On 15% seats of intake capacity of each recognized veterinary college, admission is made by Veterinary Council of India from the candidates who have qualified and are in merit of NEET (UG) 2024 Examination conducted by Govt. of India. For further details visit https://vci.dahd.gov.in/

3. Management Quota (50 seats): 

Admission on 50 Management quota seats is made by the Admission Committee of Arawali Veterinary College. Candidates from all States of India belonging to all categories who have appear to qualify NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG)-2024-[NEET-(UG) -2024] are eligible to apply.

Note: - The seats remaining vacant after last date of RAJUVAS counselling and/or VCI counselling shall be added to Management Quota seats with the permission of RAJUVAS, Bikaner.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN B.V.Sc. & A.H. DEGREE COURSE
       The Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) degree course program comprises of a course of study consisting of curriculum and syllabus specified in Part IV of Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education- Degree course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations, 2016 (MSVE-2016) of Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi. The course program is spread over five and half complete professional years including a compulsory internship training of one year duration undertaken after successful completion of all credits as prescribed in the syllabus (visit https://vci.dadf.gov.in ; MSVE-2016)

       A candidate shall be admitted to Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry degree course who fulfills the following criteria for admission. Therefore, before submitting the Application Form offline, the candidate should satisfy his/her eligibility for admission. The candidate is required to go through this information very carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all the requirements with regard to his/her admission eligibility and submission of Application Form (download from www.arawaliveterinarycollege.com).

(a)Age Limit:

Minimum Age: The candidate must have completed the minimum age of 17 years on or before 31-12-2024.

Maximum age: Maximum permitted upper age for general category candidates for taking admission in first year B.V.SC. & A.H. is 25 years as on 31-12-2024 with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Note: the date of birth as recorded in the secondary examination marks sheet / certificate will be taken as authentic for this purpose.

(b) Essential Educational Qualifications:

To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary (of 10+2 scheme) or equivalent recognized Examination with Science Biology group from a Statutory Indian Board/University (established under act by the State Governments or Central Government) taken after 12 years of regular study, the last 2 years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which shall also include a practical examination in these subjects) and any other elective subjects along with English as one of the core compulsory subjects. Provided further, the candidate must have passed the aforesaid subjects individually and also separately both in Theory and Practical examinations in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology. Further, the

 General category candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English in Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent recognized examination. For the candidates of reserved categories, the marks requirement will be 5% (of 50%) less than that prescribed for General category candidates i.e. 47.5% in the aforesaid subjects.

If the candidate has passed the Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from a Board which is not a statutory Board his/her candidature will not be considered.

Admission of candidates to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course shall be made only on the basis of his/her merit in the NEET (UG) -2024 examination. No other merit/weightage shall be considered for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course.

(c) Domicile Criteria:

Candadates from all over India will be eligible for taking admission in Arawali Veterinary College under Management Quota subject to fulfilling the other admission eligibility criteria.

(d) Physical Disability:

As per the Part III-Admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Course-Selection of students-7 (10) and (11) Regulations of the Veterinary Council of India-Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education-Degree Course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations-2016, a candidate shall not be allowed admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Course, if he/she suffers the following disabilities in physical fitness as listed below:
a) Disability of total body including disability of chest/spine more than 50 per cent.
b) Disability of lower limb of more than 50 per cent,
c) Disability of upper limb,
d) Visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability,
e) Candidates with progressive diseases like Myopathies etc.
f) Disability which otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a Veterinarian.
The disability should be certified by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board Comprising of at least three specialists, out of which two should be of the specialty concerned and the candidate has to present him/herself before the Medical Board. The last valid disability certificate of the candidate from a Medical Board should not be more than three months old from the date of submitting his/her certificate for disabled candidates.

HOW TO APPLY:-

(1) Mode of Application

a. The candidate, otherwise eligible, may download Application Form available on the college website. The print of Application Form on A4 size sheet should be completely filled by hand in CAPITAL LETTERS using blue/black ball point pen only.

b. An application registration fee (non-refundable) of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) be paid through Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of "Arawali Veterinary College, Sikar" payable at Sikar or Through NEFT A/c No:- 920010059304397, Branch Name:- Axis Bank, Sikar, IFSC Code:- UTIB0000763 or paid in cash at fees counter in Accounts Section of the college.

c. The completely filled Application Form along with the Demand Draft / Cash Receipt should reach the office  of Arawali Veterinary College, NH-52, Via-Ranoli, VPO- Bajor, Sikar, Rajasthan - 332403   OR can be submitted by hand  in the Dean office on working days.

(2) Processing of Applications:

Applications received in the office on or before last date shall be scrutinized and a merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores of NEET (UG) -2024 examination. The candidates shall be informed about their place in merit and dates of counselling via telephone/mail/SMS.

(3) Counselling and Admission:

The Counselling shall be held as per the schedule to be announced later.

The requisite number of eligible candidates shall be called for counselling, document verification and payment of required fees (Click here). After paying the fee of 1st year B.V.Sc. & A.H. the condidate has to give a guarantee to pay the fee of remaining 04 year by the mode as decided by the college authorities. After completion of all the formalities by the office, the candidate will be issued an Admission Letter.

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION AT THE TIME OF COUNSELLING:

The candidates must compulsorily bring the required original documents for verification on the day of counseling, failing which their candidature will not be considered for admission.

Character Certificate (on format of Institute) issued from the school/college last attended.
Transfer Certificate of last Institute.
 Migration certificate of Senior Secondary Board or University, if the candidate has taken admission in any college after 10+2.
Domicile Certificate of respective State issued in proforma by competent authority.
Valid digital Caste Certificate issued by competent authority not before 06 months of date of counselling, as applicable to Caste categories (SC, ST, Non-creamy layer OBC categories).
Valid ID proof of the candidate such as PAN/Aadhar/Driving License/Voter ID, etc.
PAN card of the parents.
Any documents submitted at the time of counselling, if found doubtful/forged, the eligibility of the candidate for admission will be cancelled. Also, if for the reason(s), to be recorded in the writing, the Central UG Admission Board suspects that a particular candidate has obtained his/her documents including caste certificate and income certificates of parents by misrepresenting the facts, the matter will be referred to the concerned authorities. Criminal action shall also be initiated in such cases.

MEDICAL EXAMINATION:

All the candidates provisionally admitted to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course will have to submit Physical Fitness Certificate from Medical Jurist of Govt. Hospital / Medical College. The admission of candidate found unsuitable in Physical Fitness will be cancelled.

LAST DATE OF ADMISSION:

Admission will be open up to the filling of the all the seats on or before the last date notified by VCI/ RAJUVAS for the current Academic Session.

The Arawali Veterinary College, Sikar and Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner reserve the right to admit or reject admission of a candidate without assigning any reason.
